Lovely February babies

As usual, every month we celebrate the birthday of the superstars of the hotel - this month being the February babies of course! Leaned, dressed to the nine and with smiles carved on their faces - our February babies were definitely ready to party :)

Ming Garden supports local artists!

Have you visited the hotel? Passed by the Rainforest Atrium or even checked in a night or two maybe? Because if you haven't, we are pleased to share with you that just by visiting us, you get to experience and witness the gorgeous works of the local artists of Sabah.

You may snap with the pictures, or even acknowledge the artists in any of your social media platforms, all are welcome to give our local artists the recognition they deserve :)

Humbly honored as the first international hotel to purchase and display the products of Sabahan artists with over 760 limited edition prints, we are pleased to say that all these prints are displayed throughout the hotel's 600 guestrooms, residences, and some outlets.

We love our local artists and would like to welcome all sorts of collaboration. By dipping our feet into the local arts scene, we believe more will be well aware of the pieces and artworks by our local artists.

Since the Sabah Art Gallery's establishment in 1984, as many as 73 donors made up of artists, enthusiasts, government agencies and private agencies have contributed 248 pieces of art to the gallery. (Daily Express, 2012)

Happy birthday Mr. Wei Gang!

Today not only marks the old-age celebration of love, togetherness and friendship, we here at Ming Garden Hotel & Residences also celebrate the birthday of our dear advisor, friend, and colleague our General Manager Mr. Wei Gang! :)

His humble office was ambushed by all of us here in the office, all ready to extend our well wishes. Our adorable boss will be having this dual celebration with his loved ones as well.
