Sparks is KK's Latest Jazz Lounge in Town

Sparks is Kota Kinabalu’s latest jazz lounge, 

Introducing new fresh tunes by KK’s all time favorite jazz group – the Asif & Rene Jazz Band.

Asif & Rene is a stylish permanent fixture on Sabah's growing Jazz scene, with Asif Pishori's dexterity on the piano together with his perfect accompaniment, Rene Barrow on vocals. With the recent expansion to a quartet with young talents such as Aldoreo bin Marunsai on bass and Kevin Coma on drums/cajon, the quartet will now take centre stage on Sparks, Ming Garden Hotel & Residences’ main entertainment outlet promising more jazz fusion and tasteful beats.  

Asif & Rene Jazz Band performs live every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00pm onwards at Sparks. Sparks also aims to entice jazz enthusiasts around Kota Kinabalu that wishes to lounge and gather around to the classic sounds of jazz.
